June 26, Farmer John needs a ladder to pick cucumbers.

 

 

 

Cucumbers can be enjoyed right from the garden, on vegetable trays, in salads or soups. They are low in calories and supply fiber to the diet.

First Day of Summer

It’s the first day of summer and the Lock Farm has:
cucumbers, broccoli, kohlrabi, beets, kale and garlic for sale at the farm at 822 Ritner Highway, Shippensburg.

The Lock Farm will have these delicious greens and more available through our Fields To Meals and the Thursday Market and at our farm stand on Ritner Highway in Shippensburg.
The Lock Farm is presently taking applications for the Spring Sensations FTM  and the Summer Delights FTM. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to provide you and your family with fresh, locally grown vegetables and fruits.
